This summer has been one of great adventures and exciting opportunities! I had the opportunity to visit many places and locations for shoots that I had been looking forward to visiting.
I also entered 3 of my images(featured below) into a photography competition this summer and surprisingly won 1st, 3rd and Honorable Mentions! I was so shocked that all 3 of my images won awards. It was truly a humbling and exciting experience.
Earlier this month, I was able to donate an entire day of photography to a great local cause, Special Haven. This group is based out of downtown Antioch and does phenomenal work for children with special needs. I took photos of all the golfers and provided group photos. It was such a fun day!
Beyond the art shows, golf tournaments, saturday morning farmers markets, and moving into a new home, was a spark of a renewed passion for what I see myself doing for the foreseeable future.
I absolutely adore photography.
Every part of the process challenges me and pushes me towards a renewed sense of myself while introducing me to new wonders each and every day. Each of these aspects play into helping me create my visual canvases.
Just this past week, I had a unique opportunity to photograph the forest fire on Mt. Diablo. It was a mesmerizing experience watching our mountain burn right in front of my eyes. The firefighters did everything they could to manage the blaze, but the conditions were too dangerous... so the blaze rapidly spread throughout our side of the mountain until it reached over 3,000 acres.
I hope you are well, and I thank you so very much for reading my little blog. I'm including some of my favorite photos from this summer below. Please consider supporting me and my endeavors by purchasing prints for your home/office or even booking me for your family photos or next event!
